Training course terms

Entry requirements, completion, course materials and insurance responsibility.

Last updated:

Scope and eligibility

These terms apply to training courses, masterclasses, workshops and related educational resources. You must meet the entry requirements for the specific course. Evidence of qualifications, experience, registration or insurance may be requested. Check suitability before booking.

Booking and course information

A place is confirmed only when we accept your booking and the required booking process is complete. Before booking or payment, confirm the course content, delivery format, dates, location, fees, entry requirements, assessment and completion requirements, and the certificate or qualification offered.

Attendance, practical work and certification

Attend required sessions and complete the learning, assessments and evidence tasks specified for the course. Follow tutor instructions, safety procedures, consent requirements and professional standards during practical work. Certificates are issued only when the relevant completion requirements are met; attendance alone may not be sufficient. Ask us to confirm the award and certifying organisation for your chosen course before enrolling.

CPD Course Insurance and Accreditation Disclaimer

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certification and insurance acceptance are separate matters. Insurance companies and underwriters maintain their own criteria for professional indemnity and public liability cover, and those criteria may change.

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that completion of a CPD course will automatically qualify you for insurance cover with your chosen provider. Before enrolling, you must check with your insurance broker or underwriter that the specific course, its content, entry requirements and certifying body are accepted under your policy for the treatments you intend to provide. We recommend obtaining written confirmation.

An insurer may decline cover or renewal after you complete a course. Completion does not oblige an insurer to offer cover, and we cannot make insurance decisions on its behalf. This disclaimer does not exclude or limit our responsibility for inaccurate or misleading course information, a failure to provide training with reasonable care and skill, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

Professional responsibility

Training does not replace professional qualifications, prescribing authority, supervision, insurance or legal and regulatory duties. Practise only within your competence and the scope accepted by your insurer. A CPD certificate does not itself grant a licence or permission to carry out a treatment.

Learning materials

Course materials are for your own learning. Do not copy, share, sell, publish, upload or use them to train others without written permission from the relevant rights holder, except where the law permits.

Cancellations, refunds and changes

The cancellation, refund, transfer and rescheduling terms for your course will be supplied before purchase or booking. Ask for written confirmation if these have not been supplied. Your statutory cancellation and refund rights remain unaffected. Changes to website terms do not retrospectively change an agreed booking.

Conduct and concerns

Treat tutors, learners, models, clients and staff professionally. Unsafe, unlawful or abusive conduct may result in removal from a practical session or suspension of access where necessary to protect others. Contact us about an assessment or certificate concern and explain the decision you would like reviewed. Complaints and disputes can be raised through our complaints procedure.
