Data retention policy

How record types and their purposes guide retention and deletion.

Last updated:

Retention criteria

Personal information is retained only for as long as needed for its purpose, taking account of applicable legal, insurance, professional, training and dispute-resolution requirements. The appropriate period depends on the service and record. Contact us for the retention information applicable to your records.

Record categories

  • Website enquiries: whether the enquiry and related follow-up are active and whether a complaint or dispute remains unresolved.
  • Bookings, consultations and treatments: ongoing care and administration, applicable legal and insurer record requirements, and relevant claims or disputes.
  • Training, assessment, CPD and certificates: course administration, completion evidence, award verification and applicable certifying-body requirements.
  • Account and security records: account administration, investigation of misuse and security accountability.
  • Photographs and videos: their agreed clinical, training or publication purpose and any applicable record-keeping obligations.

Review and deletion requests

Retention needs are reviewed when a record’s purpose ends or circumstances change. To request deletion or ask why a record is retained, email enquiries@naomis-aesthetics.co.uk. We consider the purpose, lawful basis, consent withdrawal and any obligation to retain the record, and explain the outcome. A request does not automatically override a legal duty to keep particular records.
