Your practitioner provides aftercare suited to the procedure and your circumstances. Confirm what to expect, what to avoid, how to contact the practitioner and whether a review appointment is needed. This website page does not replace those instructions.
Expected effects and restrictions
Expected effects and restrictions depend on the treatment. Ask your practitioner to explain normal recovery, how long effects may last, and any relevant guidance on exercise, heat, skincare, make-up, pressure or massage. Do not apply advice intended for a different treatment.
Concerns and urgent help
Follow your practitioner’s escalation instructions if you are concerned about your recovery. Seek urgent medical help for serious or sudden symptoms rather than waiting for an email response. For a life-threatening emergency call 999.
Follow-up
Keep any agreed review appointment and tell the practitioner about unexpected changes. If you have not received or cannot access your aftercare instructions, contact the team for a copy.
